About Aly Weir

Aly is currently a law clerk at Bolton Law, PLLC. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon in 2023. During her time as an undergraduate, she gained valuable experience as a Victim Advocate Intern with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office in Portland, Oregon. Following graduation, she took a gap year to further develop her legal skills, working as a Legal Assistant at the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office in Tacoma, Washington. 

Aly is now pursuing her J.D. at Gonzaga University School of Law, where she is a board member of the Criminal Law Society and will be joining the National Trial Team in the upcoming fall semester. During her first year, she distinguished herself in advocacy competitions, placing 2nd in her class in the 1L Oral Arguments and 3rd overall in the school-wide Linden Cup. These achievements strengthened her passion for oral advocacy and reflect her broader commitment to using the law as a means to advocate for and support others.

Outside of her legal studies, Aly enjoys hiking, taking spin classes, spending quality time with friends and family, and reading a good book.
